Update fixed the bug in which the fast game speed did not work. This game is great when it is played in fast speed, not that it isnt great when on normal speed, just that I dont have the time.

I dont write a lot of reviews, but I just wanted to say that this game is brilliant! Its a wonderfully crafted sim/strategy game about leading a team of game designers on the quest of creating the best games on the market. Run a studio of your hand picked hired producers, graphic designers, sound engineers, writers and see if you can make the best game on the market and increase your profits and fame! I love this game... So much fun! The pacing is perfect and after my second run through Im pumping out some new hits of my own... "Titty Twister" and RPG Romance, or "Ball Bat & Glove", or my favorite series "Farout"! I love coming up with my own game titles! Such fun! For .99 this game is a steal! Its worth the price of admission and much more!!! If you love strategy, sims, and video games you will get hours of enjoyment here. -- 5 stars!

This is a great game. I would like a few things tweaked though. 1- better self-make consoles. More options and 64 bit is the highest quality? I love my n64 but its graphics are nothing compared to even 10 year old game consoles. Also maybe special things, cameras, wifi connections, and touch screens. 2- ability to see rival company games and rankings (so I can see how far off I am) 3- research? Like multiplayer modes and multi-console games. Pricy and effective 4- expansions to game. I had one game that sold 200k units (and this is the point where most games would sale 100k) and it didnt make it onto the hall of fame so I couldnt make a sequel. Expansions would build off previous games success but would only boost the games stats up and return it to market.

My brother made mess up and in a certain process and it didnt explain what I was doing the maker should not so you can get rid of a game in process like that and cant get it back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO FREAKING FIX It !but good and all.

Game Dev Story is one of the few games I lost sleep on... In the good way. I spent an entire night creating and developing games for my first playthrough of the game. The gameplay is simple; decide on your console, game genre, and game theme and youre good to go. That being said, its difficult to release excellent games... at first. Eventually, youll find combinations that work very well together (i.e., Shooter genre and Robot theme). And if you dont have the money to make a game (it can be very expensive), you can take on contracts. Contracts are little side missions that grant you extra cash and some Research Points if you complete them. Speaking of which, Research Points allow you to level up your employees and/or improve your current game or project. These are earned through the previously-mentioned Contracts, developing games, and randomly. These are key to create not only some excellent games, but excellent employees as well. For the beginning of the game, your employees and potential employees are... mediocre at best. As you move up and improve, so too do the hiring opportunities. You can eventually hire some reference-based employees such as Walt Sidney. Overall, the game was (and still is) fun to play. I just wish it had one or two extra genres (Fighting, for instance) and an extra theme (Science-Fiction). Its an excellent tale, and I hope the developer keeps expanding on it.

This game is so good. Ive been addicted to it for the last week and now all my friends play it. Its so addicting and also so good. I love it.

I absolutely love this game but its missing two huge things and that is that it wont let u win the grand prize in the game awards and that you cant make your own console because you cant hire a software engineer, fix this please

Too many balance issues. Its fun at first, then a disaster occurs after finally making a decent game and BOOM, gone. You get employees trained, then BOOM, cant use that employee for the next game!? Its like pay to win with in game currency, but without the win. Its almost fun but has game breaking issues that ruin the fun. Ive left and come back to it a few times but still end up deleting this game.

i like this game but you should add a land scape mode for the game

I love this game. Its fun and addicting. But when it comes to naming the games, it would be a lot better if your games name didnt have to be 20 characters or less. So if you could update and fix that, thatd be great. You could make it so the name has to be 60 characters or less. But other than that, the game is AMAZING

Great game, simple but lots to do

This is probably the most amazing game on the store. I cant find another game that is so addicting and wastes my life away like this one; its amazing for long car rides.

I absolutely love this game. Ive wanted to try Game Dev Tycoon since watching jacksepticeye play it but this is a great way to find out if you like this kind of game without spending a lot of money. Been playing for hours!

I personally think that this game is really fun. I like these types of games and you cant find many good ones like this.

It is a fun game, but the UI isnt very user friendly and isnt well made for use on an IPhone. Other than that, the game is amazing :)

I love this game. I got the grand prize twice in the Global Game Awards. And I found the Jupiter 512. I just want the Hardware Engineer!!!!
